Overnight Summary & Early Morning Trading: The S&P 500 finished Friday lower by -1.97% at 5580.94. Thursday lower by -0.33% at 5693.11. Futures are lower this morning by -52.50 (-0.93%) at 5570.75 around 7:05 a.m. EDT. The range is 600 points on the S&P 500 for the year, 5500 to 6100 a drop of 100 points. Thought for the upcoming week: Moving above 5600 on the cash is a big deal after breaking this level on Friday. A break of 5500 would be bad as it would create support at 5400. The line in the sand day is Wednesday when tariffs go into effect, aka Liberation Day, maybe the biggest oxymoron of all.
